1. Purpose
Kardem Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (referred to as “Kardem” or “the Company”), aims to process the personal data of employee candidates in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) no. 6698 and other legislation provisions.
We hereby inform you that your personal data that you have notified or will, notify to our Company and/or obtained by our Company in any way will be processed by Kardem in the capacity of “Data Supervisor” under the following conditions,
– Within the framework of the purpose that requires their processing and in a limited and measured manner in connection with this purpose,
– Processing the personal data in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) by maintaining the accuracy and most up-to-date state of the personal data without going beyond the information you have reported to our company or obtained by us in other ways.

2. Collection and Procedure of Personal Data of Employee Candidates
Kardem will process the personal data of employee candidates for the purposes specified in this Clarification Text. In case of any change in the purpose of processing your personal data, this Clarification Text will be updated by Kardem and published externally.
The personal data collected and used by Kardem and belonging to candidate employees are as follows:

– Name-surname, address, association information, date of birth, education status, e-mail address, disability information, mobile number, signature, information on work experience, blood type, job interview comments, information in the resume, information on whether there is any obstacle to travel, phone number, title, foreign language level, information about the employee candidate’s references and relatives (name-surname, title, signature, mobile number)

Your personal data and all kinds of information and documents that you have submitted to our company electronically are collected through the information provided by you on our website, telephone and career sites.

3. Explanations Regarding the Processing of Personal Data of Employee Candidates

Kardem may continue to keep the personal data of employee candidates, even if the purpose of use is eliminated, if it is stipulated in another law or if a separate permission is given by the relevant employee candidate. Except for these special cases, in case the purpose of data processing is eliminated, the said personal data will be immediately deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by Kardem.

4. Purposes and Legal Reasons for Processing Employee Candidate Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed within the limits of your explicit consent, by automatic or non-automatic methods in order to achieve the following purposes in accordance with the applicable legislation and Personal Data Protection Law.
The purposes of processing personal data are as follows and can be updated in line with our obligations arising from Company policies and legislation:
– Evaluation of job applications,
– Conducting communication processes

Your personal data will be retained for the period specified in the relevant legislation or for a reasonable period until the purpose of processing disappears, in addition in any case it will be kept until the statutory limitation periods.

5. Transfer of Employee Candidate Personal Data to Third Parties

The procedures and principles to be applied in personal data transfer are regulated in Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law), and the personal data and special personal data of the person concerned can be transferred to third parties.
Personal data of the employee candidate are transferred to service providers abroad due to the provision of server service from abroad.

6. Legal Rights of Employee Candidate

In accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law), the employee candidate whose personal data is processed may apply to Kardem and make requests regarding the following issues:

a. Getting information about whether his personal data is being processed,
b. Right to request information about his personal data if it has been processed,
c. The right to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose,
d. Right to obtain information about third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad
e. The right to request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and within this context, the right to request the relevant correction to be notified to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
f. The right to request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data in the event that the reasons requiring the processing of personal data disappear, and the right to request the notification of the relevant data deletion process to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
g. The right to object to possible consequences against the data owner by analysing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
h. The right to demand compensation in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

Employee Candidates will fulfill their requests arising from KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law) through the “Relevant Person Application Form”. Kardem will finalize the application requests free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest, in accordance with Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Law. If the request is rejected, the reason for rejection is notified in detail in writing or electronically.

The Employee Candidate undertakes that the personal data subject to this Clarification Text are complete, accurate and up to date. In case of any change regarding his personal data, he will be able to inform Kardem and request that his personal data be updated. If the Employee Candidate does not provide accurate and up-to-date information, Kardem will not be deemed to be responsible for any private or general issue that may occur because of this.
